Is it possible to migrate from one domain to another without wreaking havoc on my PXE servers?

re: Migrating from domains

I don't see why that would be an issue.  In essence, PXE and DS do not care about domains.  It's your DHCP servers that you just need to ensure that they are "authorised".

RE: Migrating from domains

Correct,  PXE will not have a problem unless the IP address changes.  The one thing you will need to do is edit your PXE configuration so the agent in the preboot points to the new domain.

Thanks

Thanks. I was wondering how simple or rather....complicated....it would be to move a DS across domains.

Service account

Depending on how you have set up you domain you might have to change the service account that runs the services too. But that is much faster done then editing the PXE images :)
