    Dear All,

We have Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0.5002.333 at Client Install Packages shows version 11.0.5002.0 so we would like to update it on 11.0.5002.333.

    I am following below link.
    Title: Windows 7 / 2008 R2 - SEP Client installation rolls back.
    http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security.nsf/docid/2009110411364348

How to Migrate Client install packages from 11.0.5002.0 to 11.0.5002.333.

    Thanks,

The Client package would not get migrtaed from 11.0.5002.0 to 11.0.5002.333, When you try to add 11.0.5002.333 package manually you will get the message that the packet already exists.

The Best you can do is UPGRADE TO RU6. 11.0.6

" When we post a package for download by SEPM it has to appear as a .0. SInce that package is the same as the RU5 version you will get an error that it is already imported..

Thank for reply. I have receiving an error message that "Error 1305. Reading from the file F:\Installs\Symantec\Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_11.0.6_Xplat_EN_DVD\SEPM\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager.msi. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it." What does the error mean?

    Thanks,

Can you provide a screen shot?
How you are selecting the package?

Are you trying to repair your SEPM. F: is belongs to hard drive or CD drive/Pendrive ?If yes insert it back and click retry. In fact it is trying to read that MSI file from F:\Installs\Symantec\Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_11.0.6_Xplat_EN_DVD\SEPM and it is not able to find it.

The best option would be to unzip the contents of the DVD on to the Hard drive of the machine and then perform the SEPM installation from the hard drive instead of the DVD drive.

Extracted the zip file and saved on the local hard disk.

    Following below web link:
    http://service1.symantec.com/support/ent-security.nsf/854fa02b4f5013678825731a007d06af/6f5427dfdd4a0cc18825770400611b5a?OpenDocument

    1) Stopped the SEPM
    2) Trying to update Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager

    Thanks,

Can you confirm Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager.msi file is present in F:\Installs\Symantec\Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_11.0.6_Xplat_EN_DVD\SEPM\.Also try by copying SEPM folder to another part of the hard drive such as c:\ and try to install

This can be a permissions issue. Could you please try to move the Installation Files to a different drive or to the Root Drive and then do the installation again.
