Hi,

Can we do a Migration and Upgrade from EV 9.0.3 (32bit) to EV 10.0.3 (64bit) straight way? Or do we have to upgrade to EV 9.0.4 first?

Hi

you can do straight away. Did you read the upgrade documentation included on the EV10 media?, be advised that if you also have DA, you need to upgrade DA to EV9SP4 first, then to 10SP3

This guide describes how to upgrade to Enterprise Vault 10.0.3.

The only possible server upgrade paths to Enterprise Vault 10.0.3 are from the

following:

■ Enterprise Vault 9.0 or any Enterprise Vault 9.0 service pack.

■ Enterprise Vault 10.0, 10.0.1, or 10.0.2.

If your Enterprise Vault servers are running a version of Enterprise Vault that is

older than Enterprise Vault 9.0, you must first upgrade to Enterprise Vault 9.0

and then upgrade to Enterprise Vault 10.0.

Thanks Gertjan,

Its just EV emaila rchiving 9.0.3 so should be able to migrate and upgrade straight way using server migration wizard.
