I have HQ with central SAV server and 56 other sites with secondary servers which are serving local clients. Definitions are downloaded to central server and all secondary servers are downloading definitions from central server. I wanto migrate everything to SEP 11. After installing a SEPM server in HQ, i don't want to to load my wan links by getting all the clients from each site. Is there a way that i install HQ server, then add site servers to it, and getting all the clients to the site servers ( and the same routine for other 54 servers). In addition i don't want to use GUPs, because all logs and policy then goes directly to the center server. So routine would be:

    1. Install SEPM on HQ and getting all HQ clients reporting to it.
    2. Install SEPM on site. Then add site SEPM server to HQ server.
3.Get all local site clients report to site SEPM
    4. Uninstall SAV from local site
    5. Repeat 2,3,4 for all sites
    6. Uninstall SAV from HQ

Is it a good migration plan?

Quaq, will you be using a different server for the SEP or just use the existing SAV server?
