  • 1.  Migration from Symantec Security Centre 10.1.7 to SEP 11 fails

    Hi Guys,

I am unable to migrate from SAV 10 to SEP 11 MR5 using the migration and deployment wizard. I receive the following error at the end of the migration steps. The servers are unlocked at the Symantec Security Center (SSC) console. The policies appear to migrate but the clients groups do not.

As you can see the Client and Client groups are not imported. The screenshot below shows what should have migrated. Any ideas? Thanks so much!!

Try deleting the all the groups from SEPM server then TESTONVMAV10 then NRTest then try re-importing the group again.

Hi, Tried that, but i still get the error message. The policies copy over each time and duplicates are created. Hmmm...

SQL rights were removed at time of migration.

I think you are using the option to migrate from previous version whenyou are using the migration and deployment wizard.
dont use that option just Install the SEPM & then create the groups manually instead of Adding then from the Previous version & then try to create a package.
