Anyone can help me on this issue?
To all my SEP 11 - MR4 clients (
Windows XP SP3 machine in a Windows Server 2003 domain) is applied an Antivirus Antispyware policy that shedule a full scan every Monday at 08:00 A.M and a "retry interval" for Missed Scheduled Scan within 3 days (
default value).
Every monday at 08.00 A.M. the most of the SEP clients are powered off but when they are powered on (
tipically at 09.00 - 09.30 A.M.) the scheduled full scan starts regularly.
Some Monday, nevertheless, the scheduled scan won't start on some client and don't start even on the next reboots (
all clients are powered off every day at 01.00 P.M and than restarted at 04.00 P.M.) nor in the same day (
Monday) nor in the next days (
Thusday or Wednsday).
I don't know why this strange behaviour.
And, in addition, I've not really understood the retry interval of 3 days: it means that the scheduled scan well'be attempetd only one time 3 days later at the same time (08:00 A.M.) and if the PCs are still powered off? What happen?
Any Idea?
