Endpoint Protection

Hello,

I have SEP 12.1 installed, and I would like to configure my firewall rules. Under Network Threat Protection, I have clicked on "Options," and several options appear except "Configure Firewall Rules." I have used the "change/modify" feature under "Programs" in the Control Panel to fix the SEP installation, but still the "configure firewall rules" option does not appear under Network Threat Protection.

Any suggestions would be greately appreciated.

Is this a managed SEP client? If so, the reason is that it is in Server mode so you won't see this option available. It needs to be set to Client or Mixed mode.

Thank you for the prompt response. I suspect this is a managed SEP client. (I am an end user in an office with many end users, all of whom are working alongside an IT department.) How does one set SEP to the Client or Mixed Mode?

This action needs to be performed by a SEPM administrator from within a SEPM policy. This action cannot be performed on the SEP client.
