We have a windows 7 laptop running Office 2010 with the latest service packs.

After installing PGP desktop 10.2.1 MP5 and running the Universal server in Gateway mode, random e-mails are missing from the sent items folder even though they they are recieved by the reciepient,

Can adnybody advise on how to solve this issue?

Can you search for the emails in exchange?

I don't have access to the exchange database. As I mentioned they mails are missing from the local outlook sent items folder but they are delivered.

This is very disconcerting for users.

Have you deployed PGP across the board and this is happening to all users?

It doesn't sound like a PGP issue, hence my exchange question

We are busy rolling out PGP to the users.

One of the users we installed PGP desktop on was running Windows 7 with Office 2007 and was experiencing the same missing e-mail problem. After I upgraded thier office to 2010 the problem was resolved.

Now this user is already on 2010 and experiencing the same issue so it is more than likely compatability between PGP desktop and outlook but I don't have a option for an upgrade of office as they are on the latest service packs.

It would be very handy if you could get a message ID from one of these missing emails and using the exchange tracking to see where it is.  PGP doesn't arbitrerily delete items

Just a thought - is the environment Exchange 2013?  If so, that is not currently supported
