This issue has been solved. See solution.

Greetings

When trying to restore a virtual machine, the Network Connections details are empty. But the actual VM do have several network connections. I am using

Netbackup 7.1.0.3 and trying to restore a Redhat 6.2 virtual machine.

I have attached the screenshot for your reference. Have anyone encountered this issue?

Thanks in advance.

I've experienced same issue with vSphere 4.1+Windows 2000 VM yesterday.
I'm not sure why this issue happens so far. I just created virtual NICs as same before powering on the VM.

Our environment is using vSphere 5 with Netbackup 7.1.0.3. I didn't face this previously when using vSphere 4.1. Not sure what is the root cause at this moment.

Maybe will try to log a call with Support and see if this is a bug,

Thanks,

The problem has been resolved. It has to do with the host file. Our original host file looks like this,

192.168.x.x          hostname        hostname.xxx.xxx.sg

We removed the FQDN name from the host file and able to browse the network connections.
