Client Management Suite

It's just not there. I've restated the server and tried running a repair to no avail. I've searched the drives for the name "NS.Package Refresh" and the GUID, but cannot find anything. Could somebody direct me on how to get this task back? I'm receiving errors when trying to update the Global Agent Settings and I'm not too sure what else this could be affecting.

I´m not 100% sure if this still is valid - but please try to start the NS.Weekly task which normally recreates all Windows scheduled tasks.

Which Version of SMP are you running?

I'm not seeing the NS.Weekly task either, maybe it goes by a different name? I'm not sure why I'd be missing these, I performed a clean install of the 7.6 Client Management Suite then installed the hotfixes up to #4.I've tried running repairs, but haven't seen a change in the scheduled tasks after doing so.

So what scheduled tasks do you have, if you are also not having the ns.weekly?

Do you see any errors in the LogViewer?

Have you tried running the following command:C:\Program Files\Altiris\Notification Server\bin\AeXConfig.exe" /configure "C:\Program Files\Altiris\Notification Server\Config\CoreSchedules.config"

I've inserted an image of the scheduled tasks running on my Notification Server. To give a little bit more info we're a small company with a little under 300 computers so I have the platform installed and running from one virtual server.

I will try this now, thanks! Is there anything specific I should be looking for in the Log Viewer?

So I ran the executable and it finished after about two minutes. It doesn't look like anything has changed in the Task Scheduler library, still missing NS.Package Refresh and NS.Weekly. Could there be a problem with the CoreSchedules.config file?

I´ve exported the missing Task ("NS.Weekly.{ab7141ed-e03a-48e5-9051-a71b5912b7f2}) from my test system.

Please try to import it in the Task Scheduler Library and start the task... (rename it first to .xml)

Do you see any errors?

Logged a case with support

Turns out this was due to me disabling some Shared Schedules under Settings > Notification Server > Shared Schedules. I was under the impression these were predefined schedules that could be used with policies so I disabled them thinking I wouldn't need them. After re-enabling them the scheduled tasks came back.
