This issue has been solved. See solution.

Does anyone know how to fully encrypt mobiles (not just email like PGP)?

What does Symantec have to address this?

Hi Roy,

Are you familiar with Symantec Mobile Security Suite for Windows Mobile?  It was released several years ago, but is still supported.

http://www.symantec.com/mobile-security-suite-for-windows-mobile

Key Features

  • Provides antivirus, firewall, and tamper protection to secure against viruses, snoopware, and other malware.
  • Encrypts and decrypts data in secure folders while logging access to device files in real-time.
  • Removes SMS spam by automatically filtering and deleting messages.
  • Minimizes system incompatibilities and eases installation tasks through a unified solution, resulting in rapid enterprisewide deployments.

There was also a PGP Mobile product, but that reached End of Life last year.

Can you provide a few more details on what phones you are looking to protect?

With thanks and best regards,

Mick

Thanks Mick! the problem is that it's a heterogeneous ambient.

We'll have to go for Mobile management and PGP for Email, hopefully PGP's roadmap consider mobiles again
