  • 1.  Mobile Management 7.2 MRI Error When Updating Device Policies

    Hello, I am getting an error when trying to update Device Policies after upgrading to symantec Mobile Management 7.2. It worked ok before the upgrade

     

    The error is:

     

    There was an error processing the command: result=-1. See the server logs for more details.

     

    Not sure what log to check? Can anyone help?

    What do the Altiris Log Viewer logs show?  What kind of device is this?

    Hi the Altiris Log Viewer shows the attached. All devices i have are IOS. Ipads/Ipods

    Do you have the Ports opened to APNS from MMS Server and your mobile devices?

    TCP 2195,2196 and 5223 is needed

    Yes i do. this has now been reolved by Symantec support.

     

    i needed to upgrade the Site Server Package to 1.0.4564.0
