Server Management Suite

I am running NS7 and have installed the monitor agent on 350 Windows XP machines.  The monitor agent installed successfully on the 350 targets Tuesday night.  I have since then created a couple of monitor policies that target these 350 XP machines.  As of Friday, the new XP monitor agents have not detected their monitor policies.

The new XP agents do show up in the filter “windows computers with Monitor agent installed” but do not show up in any of the monitor reports such as “Agent Installation Summary” or “Detected Monitor Policies”.  I ran a quick “Send Basic Inventory” task on some of the targets, but nothing has updated. 

Is there anything else I can do to get the new monitor agents to detect their monitor policies?

Just checking if you have created a Configuration Policy for the XP Desktops.  I would recommend cloning the Server one, switch off heartbeats, increasing polling interval and apply to the target.

It maybe due to not having a configuration policy.
