    Hi all,

    In order to implement this solution to monitor about 3000 servers, what are the points to check, and minimum hardware requirements (SMP / SQL) to have good performances.

    Hi Jamy69,

    You can find the link below to the ITMS 7.1 Planning Guide which includes Hardware Requirements for ITMS in general.  With specific to Monitor Solution i would recommend a few things for 3000 Servers.  The Basic Monitor Packs are the best choice in this instance, i would also recommend maybe decreasing the polling interval time.  For Monitor you need to consider the following:

    1. Frequency in Metrics being Collected
    2. Number of Metric being Collected
    3. Configuration of Data being collected (Process and NT Events)
    4. How long you want/require to keep the data in the CMDB

    Monitor is a solution I don't implement. Thanks for this elements.
