Workflow Soluiton

Can these only be deployed to the local workflow server? Or can you deploy them to different computers? I was under the impression that these could be deployed as standalone services but I may be mistaken. I tried running the setup insntaller then the install.bat that was created from the installer but I get an error when trying to start the service. Along the lines of swfsvr service is nonexistant. Any insight to how this works would be appreciated.

Workflow server (just the server part is necessary) has to be installed on a machine where you deploy a workflow as a Windows service. The server part includes the core libraries that know how to navigate the workflow model to make it work.
