    Okay Sorry I'm new to SEP administration and Setup, and unfortunately I've been reading through the documentation provided by SEP and it leaves me with lingering questions, so far this forum has been the most helpful tool in answering those questions, that being said here comes some more questions.

    I now have my SEP server up and running, and I would like to start deploying the client to machines in my environment.  So, I'm trying to figure out a smart way to do it.  I know I can import my AD OU structures, but I recall reading in the Admin guide that I won't be able to add or move the groups around if I do that,  in addition I don't want this to sync (two-way) with AD.

    Ideally I'm looking to pull the computers only into the SEPM console so that I can manually create groups and OU's within SEPM for management of my SEP policies and Install Packages,  Is there a way to do this, without deploying the client manually to one computer at a time?

    importing AD will just give you the structure in SEPM nothing else other than that;
    you still need to deploy clients using the migration and deployment wizard.
    you cannot delete a OU in sepm coz its from AD;
    better to create groups in this case you wil be able to delete it without any issues.

    I know I have to deploy the clients using the migration and deployment wizard, I was just hoping there was a way to do mass deployment, instead of individually.

    you can use AD if you want to; using migration and deployment you can push to large number of clients.

    Follow these, I think this is what you are looking for:

    Finding unmanaged computers will find clients that are not running SEP 11 already.  After you find them using the SEPM, you can deploy a package to them.
