Move Backup Exec 2012 to another server

Hi,

I need help to move backup exec 2012 to another server, what is the procedure?

install 2012 on the new server,, copy over the catalog and data folders and reboot, all done :)

P.S. might want to stop the backup exec services while you copy the folders

Check if this helps (it is valid for BE 2010 family, but same utility still exists and applies same)

It also helps in migrating BE to another server (if another server has different hostname)

Here is another tech document to review that details migrating be from one box to another. It is also pointed to 2010 but is applicable. It also details migrating from a 32 bit installation to a 64 bit.
