  • 1.  move clients from SEPM 11 to sepm 12

    hi

    i have an old SEPM 11 with 100 clients, now i installed a new SEPM 12 on a new computer

    how can i move the clients from the old SEPM to the new ?

    Hi,

    You can use sylinkreplacer tool.

    You can extract sylink.xml from the package and then use the SylinkReplacer Tool, which you could download from  https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/downloads/sylinkreplacer-tool-connecting-sep-clients-sepm

    Peter is right.

    sylink replacer is now incluced in cdw. 

    SEP 12 can manage SEP 11 clinets. once reporting you can use the auto upgrade feature.

    i tried the SEPM 12 function on a client

    it works ... now i'll try on other clients ...
