Hi,

We got 2 tape libraries connected to the same master. 2 mediaserver can access to robot#1 and another 2 mediaservers can access to robot#2.

If i i eject media with data from robot #1  and inset the media to robot #2 , I will be able to restore from this tape?

I need to do some import process? or "Force Restore" enable?

* The tape belong to Volume Pool.

Thanks alot,

David.

No import is needed because all media and image catalogs reside on the same master server.

Force Restore is all you need.

On Windows Master server use Host Properties -> Master server -> General Server -> Media host override list.

or you can also change the owner of the tape to the second media server.
