  • 1.  Moving Clients from One Domain to Another Without Sylink

    If I were to create a new package, with a new SEP version, under the new domain that I want to move endpoints to, can I install this package over the existing SEP and have these endpoints check into the new domain?

    Yes, as long as it's an upgrade to a new version. If that's the case, no problem.

    Be sure you have created a custom client install setting (Admin>Install Packages>Client Installation Settings) where you have changed the upgrade settings from "Maintain..." to "Remove..."

    Build your package with the new client install setting and you should be good to go!

    Overinstalling with a newer version without such a setting will not replace the current sylink.xml.

    Yes it will easily install and will reflect in your new server.

    Yes the solution given by MichaelD50 will work defiantly.
