Hi - I'm sure i must be dong somthing completely stupid...

I have imported our AD OU structure into SEPM. I am just getting used to this product and wanted to play around with moving a client from one SEPM group to another - I cannot see a 'move' option anywhwre?

I am in Clients Console, selecting a client, right click and no option to move ?

    What am i doing wrong?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    1. What you can do, export a global MSI package first. then find sylink.xml from that package & edit the server location from that file.

    2. Then import that policy from the client you want to move, & update.

Do what "ben SEP secured" said.
You should be able to move that by drag and drop. What are the available options on the lower left portion of the main window?

You can not move the clients if they are in a OU that you have imported...

There is no option to 'move' client computers...

@ KSD - Thanks for this confirmation - i suspected that because i had imported my OU structure from AD, this was the issue, am i correct?

    Thanks!

If you have imported the structure from AD you can't move clients from one group to another.
For making a test group actually you will have to make a test OU and move the test client in that OU in AD.

oops im sorry mr.samiron7567, i'd overlooked the problem. And mr. mon_raralio i didn't said to "do", i think "drag and drop" idea has the same result as what im trying to elucidate. And just happened that it's not applicable with the issue.
