Moving current Backup Exec 12 d to another server

I need to move the current instance of BE 11d to a new server but would like to keep all jobs,media sets etc...

Is there anyway to export this information and then import it in or is there a better way to migrate all of this?

I am eligible to download the new version of of BE 12. is it possible to install 12 and migrate 11d information to it?

Did you try the Utility?

Run: \Symantec\Backup Exec\NT\BEUtility.exe

In the right pane, right-click the server you want to move the instance from, then select "New Backup Exec Database Location"

Thanks Ashearer I will look at this and see if it will do what I am loking for. I was not aware of the BE utility.

Says it's for v10 and v11, but should work for v12 also
