Moving data from one opscenter to a new one

Hello all,

I have an old opscenter (7.1.0.4) with 2 master servers configured in it.

I have a new opscenter (7.5) with 10 master servers configured on it.

I need to move the historical data from one of the servers in old opscenter to the new opscenter.

I've read that you can move the database from one opscenter to another copying the data under /db/data, but i don't want to replace the info in the new opscenter, I would like just to add the info of the corresponding server, or merge both databases.

Can this be done? Does anyone have any idea about how to do this?

Kind regards,

Juan

The only way this might be possible is if a Symantec Partner offers this service as far as I can tell.  I can't find any TNs on it.

I suspect it's going to be similar to the process of merging two NBU databases, though I've never actually heard of this being done with OpsCenter.

Happy to be proven wrong if anyone can come up with a better solution.

Martin
