How do I change the SEE Management Server link for a given laptop that was installed using an earlier version of GE in one domain to a newer vesion in a different domain?
I am testing in a different Forest and Domain latest version of SEE 8.01 --Full Disk, Framework and RSE.
I am testing the upgrade of a client system that originally was in a diffferent domain using the older ADAM based vesion of GuardianEdge and using only Framework and RSE--no Full Disk encryption. The client shows up in the new AD. I ran the new client msi's for Framework and RSE as an upgrade successfully. But the client does not show up in the SEE Management console's list of managed devices.
I want to look ahead to preserving the registered users and their GE passwords/certificates when I go to upgrade them in their current domian, so I don't want to UN-install the older versions if I can preserve all that by a software upgrade.I've asked tech support for an answer...still waiting. Has anyone figured out a way to "fool" the client to look at the new management console?
