Hi

I'm looking for an "how to" to move my SEPM version 12.1 from a 2003 server to a 2008 R2 server (and reconnect all SEP clients) . I'm using the symantec enbemded DB and i red it wasn't possible to use SEPM replication to proceed. Is it true ? Is it possible to import database backup ?

Regards

check this article explaining about moving of SEPM to one hardware to another hardware.

http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH171767

you can replicate SEPM's between embedded DB.

You can take backup using SEPM backup and restore wizard.

Hello,

It is possible.

How to move Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager 12.1 from one machine to another

http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH171767

However, what you have heard is in reference to the SEP SBE 12.1. Replication cannot be done on Small Business Edition.

Secondly, check this Thread with Similar Query -

Hope that helps!!
