MR1 endpoint protection upgrade server

I have been testing the MR1 upgrade for Endpoint Protection Manager.
And there are a few notes in the upgrade manual that is delivered with MR1 that doesn't seem to be right.
It states this

7.At the Ready to install the Program panel, click Install
8. In the Install Wizard Completed panel, click Finish.
9. In the Upgrade Wizard Welcome panel, click Next.
10.In the Information panel, click Continue.
11.When the Upgrade completes, click Next.
12.In the Upgrade Succeeded panel, click Finish.

The installation itselfs goes okay but I never get to see the upgrade progress. So I don't know wether this upgrade has gone correctly or not.

Probably this is mainly because you have to manual stop the endpoint protection manager service in Windows Services and this service isn't restarted after installation. Even after starting this server my endpoint protection manager didn't start. I had to reboot the server to make it work again.

Can anybody tell me if the have similar problems and if the upgrade has gone correctly?

In about it says that the version is 11.0.1000.375.

i upgraded to MR1

i have a progress bar
and after installation i could chouse to run or not to run SEPM service and colsole

Hi Erik,

Got the same problems as well.. I tested the upgrade in a testing situation twice without problems. Today did the upgrade on our production server. All goes well It even starts the Upgrade Wizard, but soon after it starts it gives an error stating that the licensekey does not exist.
Did you ever get a solution for this?
Called symantec technical support, got the idea they don't know either. Don't feel like reinstalling the whole lot!
