MR4 MP2's SEPM Console and recent JAVA versions?

Just wondering if anyone has been brave enough to try the new version's console with recent Java versions, and if so, if you had any luck.

What version of java are you currently running?

What version of java are you currently running and what version/versions are you planning on testing with. Also, are you using a remote console? Normally, the version of java that gets installed during the Policy Manager installation is fine.

I was more speaking of the remote console.  On those, we've generally had to run version 6, update 7 to get full functionality (I know there are a couple of workarounds to get some things working).  Sun is up to update 13 now, and given the vulnerabilities in the older versions, I'd love to be able to upgrade the handful of machines running the remote console.

When I updated my Java to the latest one about 2 months ago, I lost all functionality to access my SEPM from a remote console. It sucked. Had to uninstall Java then install an older one.

Any word on updated support?

Any word from the Symantec folks on when they will support the newer versions of Java for remote console?

1.6 Update 13 seems to work

After upgrading my server to MR4 MP2 I upgraded Java to 1.6 Update 13 and everything still appears to work fine.  Although, I also haven't ran across any official Symantec support information on this subject.
