Hi STF,
Here's a good place to start:
What's new in Symantec Endpoint Protection and Symantec Network Access Control 11.0.6 (http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security.nsf/docid/2010032910180148)
There are a couple of links from that document, including to the release notes.

Yay!!
With an Application and Device Control policy enabled, a pop up message appears despite "Notify users when devices are blocked" option being disabled
Fix ID: 1790228
Symptom: When a device is removed from an existing application and device control policy, a pop-up message appears on the Symantec Endpoint Protection client despite "Notify users when devices are blocked" option being disabled. The message states that the device that was previously blocked has now been enabled.
Solution: Ticking the "Notify users when devices are blocked" box ensures that no popup messages will appear.
Double Yay!!
Certain applications crash with Symantec Endpoint Protection 11 RU5 Application and Device Control enabled
Fix ID: 1858321
Symptom: After installing Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0 RU5 and deploying an Application and Device Control policy, applications with an image base of (0x10000000) will fail to launch.
Solution: Fixed Symantec Endpoint Protection ntdll hook to happen after Sysfer relocates, preventing the crash.

I downloaded RU6 three hours
I downloaded RU6 three hours ago but when I tried to unzip the Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_11.0.6_Xplat_EN_DVD.zip file it was corrupted. I went again to fileconnect to download it but I can only see RU5 now. I think Symantec figured that the file is corrupted and they removed it.

Single SEPM to manage?
Symantec Endpoint Protection includes client software to run on a Macintosh computer. The client runs on the following versions of Mac OS X:
Does this mean that:
Ability to manage both PC and MAC based machines from a sinlge web-based console??
Or does it simply mean, MACs will now be considered "unmanged" clients, but will have the software installed on it?
Thanks.

MAC clients are fully supported in the native SEP console.
They do AV/AS only at this time and do not have IPS/firewall.
From the SEP console you can set the AV/AS policy and also the liveupdate settings.

Just read from the Admin
Just read from the Admin guide that MAC clients cannot get content updates from the SEPM, only an internal or external LiveUpdate server. Wanted to comfirm this before I had to make alternate plans on updating these clients now.

Confirmed: That is Accurate
Hi blenahan,
That's the case: the SEP for Mac clients need to get their defs from an internal LU server (LUA 2.2, for instance) of from the Internet LU servers.

As Brian81 will know, we posted a zipped ISO to Fileconnect the first time, which although it worked fine, wasnt the best way to post the software.
We have recreated the zips in our more standard format of the directory structure (rather than an ISO) and they have been passed to the Fileconnect team for uploading.
They should be available soon.
@Jason1222, yes, its a managed Macintosh AV client - SEP for Mac
You can run reports on it from the SEPM, manage its policy, etc.

How does the CD work? Currently, I have a CD that has MB and TR on it, have to install using safe mode, then update, then scan when SEP can't find the problem. Does the CD do better or the same thing?

LOL, well, that's like 8 times or things I've subscribed to over the last couple of years.
Apparently all the stuff I have subscribed to over the last serveral months have been discontinued, as I never did receive anything from anything I've ever signed up for.
Hope this one is different - and I actually get something.
Seems you sign up, there's a promise of updates, they drop that particular "newsletter" and you have to subscribe to a new one.
Then a few months later, no more of those, and you have to re-up.
Can this be made so that it's transferred? Sorry but this is getting REALLY frustrating........
I should not have to work so hard to keep up with signing up for newsletters.
I just signed up for such a thing a couple weeks ago -

SEP for Mac / Mac integration
Just upgraded my test machine's SEPM to RU6. Went very smoothly. Mac integration is SWEET. The functionality of SEP for Mac is not significantly different than it was for SAV for Mac, but boy oh boy, is management ever easier! Anyone who has ever needed to send a schedule via the SACM will appreciate what I'm talking about.
I did find that since I did not want my Windows boxes to have a LU schedule, I put the Mac in a different group and assigned it its own daily schedule.
I am also viewing my SEPM via my Mac, via Firefox.
I was also able to open it via Ubuntu too... (https://[SEPM IP]:8443/Console

Got upgraded to MR6 this morning. Process could not be easier. Updated a couple of client machines for testing and process was smooth. Does anyone know if there is new functionality to detect if the PTP or IPS defs get out of date? I know that we had not monitors or reports for this in the past. Also when you export a package does it include the most recent defs?

One big disappointment with
One big disappointment with the web-based "console". The session expire too quickly. You cna't use it for monitoring, or if you get called away, or the phone rings, the session ends, logs you out, and you must start over.
At least with the JAVA console, as much as I despise JAVA anything, esp consoles, at leeast I could leave it running all day to monitor things, and never got logged out.
The web logging out is really inconvenient, sorry.
