  • 1.  MU5 italian language: distributing the client, processes don't start

    i updated sepm to MU5 and it works (from MR4 MP2)
    then i want update all client (MR4 MP2) but distributing the client package, install finish succesfully but processes (smc, rtvscan, etc) does not start and the clients don't work
    only a reboot can solve this
    is there a method to solve this ?

    if you have NTP installed, then its mandatory that it needs a reboot after upgrade,

    Hi,

           As per the architecture of SEP if the NTP feature is installed the system has to be restarted to apply the changes and for the services to start. This is by design. We would request you to resstart the machine monitor it for some time and then let us know if you face any issue.

    i also have this problem on PC with SEP without NTP !

    the problem is ... every sep_client process don't restart after the installation, so sep cannnot work and the pc is infectable until a reboot
