Asset Management Suite

Hello All,

We are new to teh Altiris asset system and have been trying to figure out how to set up license monitoring for the following situation:

We have an EA agreement where we have lets say 1000 licenses for office.  This is for any year of office 2003, 2007, 2010, etc. How can Altriris report on this cumulative license?  I see that I can put in a license count per version, but that does nto really help us.

You have the possibility to "borrow" your 2003 licenses to your 2010 licenses and also borrow your 2007 licenses to the 2010 licenses. Then you have different purchases but a total license count on the 2010 licenses.

To keep track of the different agreements, you can create a "Master license agreement" in which you combine all of your different agreements (2003, 2007, 2010) under one hood to see the entire license count of your EA agreement.
