  • 1.  Multiple Install Packages in SEP 11.6

    Hello-

I am running SEP 11.6200 MP2.  I have updated the server and would like to automatically upgrade my clients who are running various versions.  My question relates to the fact that I have a mix of Windows XP SP3 x32 and Windows 7 x64 clients.

My SEP groups mimic my AD Tree.  Company/City/Location/Laptops for example.

If I assign both a x32 and x64 installation package to a group, will the existing client/SEP be aware that Windows 7 x64 should pull the x64 package and Windows XP x32 should pull the x32 package?

I'd like to avoid creating seperate x32 and x64 groups.

One other question is USB file logging on the clients.  Has anyone gotten this to work and where do I view a report of the files that were copied via USB from the clients?

Yes, they will know which one to download.  I have two packages per group (32bit and 64bit).

USB logging, look under Monitors, logs, choose application and device control for log type and Application Control for the log content (depending how you set up your application and device control).
