  • 1.  my client lost intranet connection

    i installed small business edition on few client machines like windows xp (SP2) and windows vista,After installing clients lost the communication to the server machine.Am able to browse internet , but if i ping other machines it says reply timed out .But am anle to ping these machines from the server.

     

    firewall is disable , i tried to use both DHCP and Static ip address on the client side , But issue remains the same.

     

    Removed the symantec from one of the client and rebooted ,but issue remains the same.

     

    Disabling the featured also didnt helped me.

     

    Kindly suggest what we need to do a further check

    Try uninstalling and reinstalling the network adapter driver.

    Still try that. Also, if that does not  help, add the  ip address and the host name of the Server on the hosts files on the client.

    Is the issue happening on Wired, Wireless, or both? Run the SEP support tool on a system and report here any errors that come up.
