Hi guys,

one of my GUP servers is not in the client list in SEPM. When I remote in to the server, the SEP client for that server is up and running fine.

Do you guys know what happen? How to troubleshoot this issue?

What happens when you do a search for it in the SEPM, does it show at all?

What's the SEPM and SEP version?

Yes. I search by IP address and computer name, still not show at all.

SEP version is 11.0.7000.975

SEPM version is 11.0.6300.803

Did this just start or has it always been like this?

Usually clients on a higher version than the SEPM can cause problems because the schema is different.

Does everything else appear to be normal? The GUP is serving content to clients?

Im not sure for how long this issue happen coz I just join here.

everything else is look fine me. for other GUP servers is listed normally and yes, this GUP server serving content to client

My thought is this is happening because client is on a higher version than the SEPM. Not recommended.

As long as the GUP is acting correctly and serving clients it should work fine though.

btw, i got 5 GUP servers here. 2 out if 5 server is SEP version 11.0.7 (including this issue server) and other is SEP version 11.0.6

and the other GUP server that version 11.0.7 is running fine and it in the client list in SEPM

You could always try running a repair or re-installing but assuming everything is working as expected it may just as well be left alone. I've seen this issue before though when the client is at a higher version than the SEPM.
