My sent email missing from "Sent Items" in conversation mode

    TouchDown version 8.5.0009

    Android OS version 4.4.2 on Samsung Galaxy S4

    Microsoft Exchange 2013 email server

     

    I configured TouchDown to open email as a conversation

    TouchDown > TODAY screen > EMAIL > EMAIL MENU > MORE > Options... > Open Email as conversation > CHECKED

     

    When I display the contents of my "Sent Items" folder (for example) and open a message in that folder that is part of a conversation (but not the first message in a conversation), I cannot see any of the email messages that I've sent that are part of the conversation. For example, I have a conversation consisting of five emails between myself and person 'X':

    1) Message sent from 'X' to me

    2) Reply from me to 'X'

    3) Reply from 'X' to me

    4) Reply from me to 'X'

    5) Reply from 'X' to me

    When I open message 5 TouchDown displays only messages 1, 3, and 5 (email sent from 'X' sends to me); the reply messages I sent--2 and 4--are not listed among the emails in that conversation.

    When I uncheck the option "Open Email as conversation" and click on an item in the "Sent Items" folder, TouchDown displays the email I sent.

    So how do I get TouchDown to display emails I've sent as part of a conversation when the "Open Email as conversation" option is checked?
