My SEPM also stays in 31/12/2009.

The SEP Client installed on the server is regularly getting updated.  Today it has the update of January 11, 2010 r3.

Some SEP clients in the local LAN got the Virus Def of January 7, 2010 r49, but still major client machines stays in 31/12/2009 rev 117 update.

I am not able to figure out, when few clients have received the updater of January 7, 2010 r49, why the other systems on the LAN / WAN have not received the updates?

SEPM updation problem, is it solved? or still lying unresolved?

Could any one clarify?

However symantec is working on SEP 12.x and JDB files . So if your SEPM is not connected to internet it will still show 31-12.
But if it connected to internet and still your SEPM is not updating try running liveupdate on SEPM server.

Start - run - luall

or
SEPM - Admin - Local Site- Download liveupdate content.

Ya the Patch is not applied.  SEPM has not automatically downloaded the Patch and applied.  Hence I have downloaded the exe and tried applying it, but landed up in an error.  Pls see attachments Screen Shot.Patch Application.JPG

Do we have to stop the services or anything.  Nothing was mentioned in the DOC
