My Symantec filewall is disabled

Since last 2 weeks to i am facing the problem with symantec becasue my symantec client firewall got disabled. i am opening my mozilla or internet exploser it's working. so is there any possibility to solve this issue.

My mozilla and internet explorer is not working............because of symantec client firewall is disabled in system....

Please help me out this issue..

As per your link i tried to follow but i went start -->run-------->regedit--------->throwing error like regedit disabled......

Now what can i do...........

Could you people please help me out.........

It is possible your system is infected. What Antivirus are you running? I would make sure to download the latest definitions and run a full scan in Safe-mode. Lets see if anything gets detected.

SAV 8 is end-of-life and no longer gets new definitions. Knowing this really makes me think your system is infected. You need to upgrade your AV solution ASAP.

Symantec Antivirus 8.0 reached its End of Support Life as of November 30, 2005 and Symantec Antivirus 8.1 reached its End of Support Life as of January 31, 2007, as defined in the Symantec Enterprise Technical Support Policy. Therefore virus definition updates are no longer supported for this product.
