  • 1.  MySupport Application Error

    I have been trying to use the Symantec MySupport Technical Support site for months, since about last November, and it never works.  Logging in to my account is fine, but the "Create Case" and "Manage Case" links bring me to a page which asks for Technical Contact Id, Support Number, or Technical Case Id.  None of these options prevent the "MySupport Application Error" page from always coming next.

    The MySupport application has encountered a program error. You can either try again or contact  Symantec Technical Services

    Thank you for your patience.

    I have tried multiple browsers on multiple computers, with no effect.

    If you already tried several browsers and from another computer, then the issue is most likely alligned with your account as for other customers the portal is working without issues.

    You do not have to use the online incident management tool but you can call directly into tech support to report an issue with a Symantec product. Please see the left column (Technical Support) of this page http://www.symantec.com/support/contact_techsupp_static.jsp to find the phone number

    If you just want to have someone looking at the issues with your support account and the MySupport website please check the right column of this website (Customer Support) for a phone number and explain them the issues with MySupport.
