<Edit: OK, ignore this post. The official notice that announced the new forums confused me since it only pointed to MySymantec which lead to a bit of a dead-end on the Rewards front. I've now been able to find the new forums at

Hmm.... just tried to make the move to the new MySymantec site. Pretty annoying to find I now have to commit to a Rewards programme before I'll be able to access any further info. Doesn't feel like an improvement at all atm, or am I missing something.
The way it comes across atm is not so much a user community but rather a restricted site that's only accesible to paying customers. We are paying customers ofcourse or we wouldn't be using Symantec's products. At the moment the net result for us technicians is that we can't access the site until some sales person sets up the whole rewards thing first. Not very nice IMO and from my point of view not an improvement at all compared to these forums.
