Does anyone know if it is possible to do a dissimilar BMR restore on a Red Hat linux box?  I have everything configured and can successfully restore to identical hardware but I am looking to try out dissimilar restores like I can do with Windows machines.  Is this possible?  If it is in the documentation, I can't find it.  If it can be done, can anyone shed some light on how to do it?

Thanks in advance.

Have a look at this very recent discussion:

that points to this TN: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH62678
