HI Folks,

I am restoring a file on the production server.

It is a windows box.

If I check,Restore without access-control attributes  check box, what will be the permission on my file?

 

I know that this option will not restore the file permissions .

Try it to a alternate location and see. that's how I would find the answer.

But sir we have the prod server.We cant test on it.Please anyone can provide the solution by testing in there environment?

Shouldn't make a difference if it's production or not, you are not downing a system, you are simply restoring a file. Restoring to a temporary directory will not affect your production system.

It would have permissions inherited from the folder to which it is restored.
