Hi All

I have few NDMP servers in my backup Environment, I have few NDMP tape drives and stu.

I have licenses of NDMP and SSO also.

I just need some help on following questions:

1) Is it possible to share a tape drive on more then one NDMP host.
2) If yes, Do I need any license for it or existing SSO license will work for it.

1) Yes, tape drives can be shared between multiple media servers and NDMP hosts.

2) Existing SSO license is sufficient. Number of SSO licenses is per shared drive, regardless of number of media servers and/or NDMP hosts.

Our configuration works just as Marianne states, multiple media servers and NDMP hosts sharing each drive covered by SSO license.

Hi All

Thanks for your support.
Its possibel to share NDMP tape drive between more then one media server and ndmp hosts. No separate license is required for it, just SSo license is required.
