This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hello,

We've recently upgraded from EV 8.0SP5 to 9.0.4.1097.

Just creating the image for new Win7 64-bit workstations with Outlook 2010 32-bit and the EV http-only v9.0.9377 add-in.

Can someone please confirm the "best" version of the client add-in to install, in terms of stability?

All our users are still on Outlook 2003 with Exchange 2003, altough we've started to install Exchange 2010.

Thanks,

- Alan.

Btw in Outlook itself, the add-in version is reported as 9.0.2.1185. The other version (9.0.9377) is from Control Panel - Programs. Thx.

I would install the 10 SP2 client hotfix if you can, you will need a server side patch
but basically its one MSI, no need for seperate installs for DCOM or HTTP and no need for multiple languages

Thanks. Just one thing - that's a hotfix to an existing client installation or a complete standalone package?

And is there a second alternative please w/out touching the servers?

Well the thing is i *think* 9 SP4 includes the server side fixes normally that were needed for 9 SP1/2/3 etc so i dont think you need to apply any patches

and client hotfixes are always stand alone installations, they will never be replacement DLL files etc
