    All,

I was running an older version of SEP on Windows 8.1 with zero issues.  I wanted to update to Windows 10.  I didn't know about upgrading to SEP 12.1.6 prior to the Windows 10 update to avoid issues with the install.  I had already upgraded to Windows 10, discovered the problem, so tried to uninstall older SEP, then reinstall latest version.

Something is very wrong with the SEP install.  I cannot repair, uninstall, run it - nothing.  I need Cleanwipe to get this off my computer and try to reinstall.  My company provides SEP for free to employees because we regularaly work from home on our own computers.  They provide zero tech support for these home install situations.

Symantec has flat out refused to help me because I dont know the company purchased license number for their product and keeps telling me to go to my tech support.  I keep reiterating my company doesn't provide tech support for this situation, I just need the dang clean wipe tool to get this off my computer, then I can reinstall.  They REFUSE to help.

Does anyone have Cleanwipe for 12.1.6 mp1a?

The only way to get this is via support. If you don't have a customer number you'll have to try the manual uninstall.

Symantec is correct in not providing you support. No license details = no support, I'm afraid.

While you've already said that your work offers no support on this, have you actually tried to ask them? Explain the issue, and I'm sure they will be happy to help you.

Otherwsie, you can remove it manually via the link ℬrίαη provided. It involves a bit of work to get them removed, but once you've followed the guides & steps, you can remove it no problem.

But I'd still go back to your work and ask for help - no harm in trying.

Ask your IT department for CleanWipe.Tell them to look in the Tools folder where they stored the installer files..
