    Hi All,

We need to delete old and unwanted entries of Computer servers Permanently from the Symantec Altiris notification server.

The server are decommissioned from the environment still the old entry reflects in the NS Server.

    NS Server Version: 7.5 SP1
    OS: Windows server 2008 R2 SP1

Let us know how we can purge the old entries.

Any suggestion will be helpful for us.

    Regards,
    Vipul

In the Symantec Management Platform console you can go to Manage --> Computers then find the computers you want to get rid of and right click on them and click the Delete button.

Alternatively you can go into Settings --> Notification Server --> Purging Maintenance then click on "Purging Maintenance" link on the left hand side and check "Purge computers managed by this NS, which have not reported data for: X months" and set that to a date range you are comfortable with. You would want to set the option under that to "Delete the computers and all associated data from the database" instead of the default of having them retired.

my post over here might be helpful.  Keep an eye on your license counts to make sure they're going down as you delete.  Generally a delete should be fine, but you may have to restart altiris services, etc to see the count go down (or maybe I just didn't wait long enough).
