Need to download Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0.6005.562

Hello Team,

I need to download Symantec Endpoint protection manager version 11.0.6005.562 RU6a but didnt get any link.

the link which I get is only have Latest new version.

Please suggest

This posting begs the question: Why do you want SEP 11.0.6005 (RU6a)?

If you are planning to stay with SEP 11 instead of upgrading to SEP 12.1, you will want to be using the latest release which is 11.0.7300 (RU7 MP3).

Once a newer RU (release update) is released, access to older versions is removed from FileConnect. This is by design.

@ogsi.support Listen to MichaelD50 rather install v11 RU7 if you can't upgrade to v12. Remember that a v11 RU7 client will happily communicate with a v11 RU6 SEPM. It might not be officially supported, but it does work.

@MichaelD There are many legitimate reasons to want the original installation source.

  • Repair of a current installation
  • To set up a replication partner
  • To access specific tools
  • Client installation media required for packaging?
  • Because RU6a is the required upgrade step between RU6 and RU6 MP3?

Thanks for the information its really help me to start with implementation.

Symantec (11) which proposed to be rollout on client (Windows server 2008 64bit) having Cisco ICM 8.0(X), ICM 8.5(x) & ICM 9.0 (x) application and Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 supported on ICM 9.0(x) only. 

Kindly suggest.

In that case you should upgrade to the latest version SEP 12.1 RU2.

At fileconnect you will always find the latest SEP release.

SEP 12.1 RU2 is released on 15th Nov'12.

You can directly upgrade from SEP 11 RU6 to SEP 12.1 RU2.
