Need to enter a "Last Written" date on imported tapes

Created: 05 Sep 2012 | 1 comment

Had to rebuild out  NBU 6.5 catalog and image databases after a hardware malfunction. We couldn't get the Catalog Restore to complete successfuly so we had to go  "the long way round", importing and syncing all our tapes via the NBCC process working with Symantec support.  After importing all our tapes, we found the "last written" date field is blank.  I've searched for a command line command that would allow me to "enter" a last written date.  Does anyone have any thoughts on how I can accomplish this?  Is there something along the lines of bpexpdate that would work to enter the last written date?  I think the "Time Assigned" would be close enough for my needs if there is a way to copy that info into the "Last Written" field.

We have recently upgraded to NBU and are running on Solaris 10.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

There is no way to enter a last written date via NetBackup commands.

The only way this could be done is via manual SQL commands directly on the database.
