Need to get the SylinkReplacer utility

Hello,

           I'm building a new SEPM enviornment and need to re-direct the clients to point to the SEPM server.  Does anyone know where to get the utility SylinkReplacer?  This utility edits the .XML file which points the client to the SEPM.  One would think you can just download it from Symantec's site.

You need to contact support to get sylinkreplacer for SEP 12.1

Hi

If you have SEPM 12.1.2 you can replace the Sylink file within the console

If clients are lower version than Sep12.1 R2 then you van contact to symantec support.

version is Sep 12.1 ru2 or higher then follow the link

Hello,

In case of  SEP 12.1.RU2, you no longer need Sylink Replacer. That functionality is built in to the SEPM now. See the attached screenshot, or the following document:

The clients can be either 11.x or 12.1 (previous version than 12.1.2).

In case you are using any lower version to SEP 12.1 RU2, then you would have to contact Symantec Technical Support and create a case with them.
