Hi,

register for an account on the link below. You should ideally use the same account you use for Connect:

https://partnernet.symantec.com/

Once approved, you should be able to book your exam with the Partnernet account.

Thanks!

Amaan, which exam are you trying to register for?

There are two exams: One for end-users and one for partners/resellers:

End-user:  Symantec Certified Specialist (SCS)

Symantec Partner: Symantec Technical Specialist (STS)

If I look at your screenshot, it seems that you are trying to register for the partner exam?
If you are working for a Symantec partner, Craig is correct - you need to be registered on PartnerNet.

If you are an end-user, you need to register for SCS exam.

Thanks Marianne,

As you said I found that I was doing different. I tried End User and it worked, but it is expansive :(

You are correct - STS exams are quite expensive. Employers are sometimes willing to pay for these exams.

You can also save up your Connect points and redeem 1000 points for exam voucher. See Rewards under your profile.

GOOD LUCK!

I too need to be re-trained on 7.5. I have not seen any 7.5 training manuals yet (will deal with it when I'm forced to...)

You may want to take the skills assessment on the product Training site: http://skillsassessment.symantec.com/TAPP/default....

Results of the assessment should point out gaps in current knowledge.
