Need infected excel file to test symantec protection engine

    Hi Guys,

     

    I am using symantec protection engine with my asp.net application. I have to test that SPE is working fine or not, so need infectedd excel file to test.

    i have downloaded .txt and zip file from http://www.eicar.org/85-0-Download.html, these are detected by SPE.

     

    I need xls file to test please help.

    Hi,

    May be anybody not provide infected file in public forum.you should search in google for infected file.

    We always recommended don't be attach any infected file in connect community.

    You should be able to put the eicar string into an excel spreadsheet then test that.
