Endpoint Protection

Hello everyone,

We have several customers running SEPM on their environment. now we recent;y started to roll out monitoring software. We would very much like to monitor the SEPM for license status, virus breakouts and all that, but we are having a hard time finding documentation how to get that info (if possible at all)

Now I found this article --> http://www.symantec.com/about/news/release/article.jsp?prid=20111110_01 stating that Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 will have RMM integration for several products including Kaseya, LabTech, Level Platforms, and N-able. (We use N-able) but there is no information to be found.

all i can find looking on the symantec forum's, is the product Altiris which supports monitoring, but since we are using N-able, i would not like to purchase and use an extra product.

Does anyone know if it is possible at all tho monitor SEPM and if so, have information about the RMM integration for SEP?

I believe, N-able is as of now not supported, however let's see this functionality coming up in the upcoming version of SEP 12.1

Thank you for this information! it's unfortunate that N-able is currently not supported, but let's hope this will change in the near future.

atleast now i know that part of the website i can check for these plug-ins.

Symantec offers the Connect Forum "Idea" section for proposal of enhancement requests.  Some "Ideas" that garnered a high number of votes haave made their way into the official product as supported features in the past.

I have taken the liberty of adding your request for N-Able compatability as a new Idea:
